How Hitting Rock Bottom Woke Me The F Up

I seriously never planned on starting my own business, let alone something like this.

But as it stands, the universe has a very funny way of throwing things your way, and after being in and ending a 8-year long relationship with someone I thought I’d die next to, here we are. It wasn’t this giant wake-up call, either. It happened so quietly, behind-the-scenes, and then it smacked me dead in the face and the universe ripped out the rug from underneath me.

It only took losing my mom, dropping out of Nursing school (after 2 long years, by the way), forcing myself to go to Grad school, and getting my heart absolutely ripped to shreds for me to wake the fuck up.

And then there’s that moment—you know the one I’m talking about—where your eyes sort of just…open. And then you’re just like…wait, how did I get here, and what the hell am I doing with my life, and why is none of it for me? Your body can say yes. You can convince yourself all you want, but your spirit and your soul will argue until you, too, have the rugged ripped from under you.

And if you’re here and you’re reading this and you feel it in your chest or your stomach, maybe you’re there, too.

I created The Glow Discipline for those who aren’t awake, those who are currently waking up, and for those who woke up and don’t know where to go from here. Honestly, I wish I had a me in the process of all of this, but then I realized it all came from me.

I am here as your guide. I am your friend, your shoulder to lean on, your best friend to absolutely rant to. But the work we do comes from you, and I’m here to guide that out of you.

And listen, I am no guru. I am a very chaotic, loud-mouth, Italian, Jersey raised girl. I’m writing this as someone who is going to loudly guide you—no soft shit, just lots of healing.

I’m writing this as someone who gets it. Someone who knows. Someone who will empathize with you. Someone who wants to shake your shoulders and wake you the hell up and guide you to the highest version of you that you can be. If you’re here, maybe you’re going through something, too. Or maybe you’ve realized the life you’ve been living just isn’t yours.

Here’s your reminder: you are not broken. You are not too late. You are not too much.

You are waking up, and that is brave as hell.

So, good morning and welcome home. Let’s glow.
